Today was the shortest day of the year.
Here in Iqaluit the weather network reported:
Sunrise 9:22
Sunset 13:42
For a total of 4 hours and 20 minutes of sun. I went out side at 2pm and the sun was still out so I'm not sure the total time with no light.
I enjoyed the 24 hour light wayyyyyyyyy better.
